France – Rooftop power plant – 541 kW

The project

The FOURNIER solar power plant is the result of a partnership between Tryba Energy and the owner of the industrial building which houses the THEUS boilermaking company known for its FOCUS® brand of wood burning stoves.

The project is located in an industrial area on the outskirts of the city of Cavaillon in the south of France. A true challenge in terms of construction, the solar power plant is positioned in place of an industrial asbestos roof which had to be removed completely without disrupting the activity taking place underneath.

The Tryba Energy solar power plant project has enabled the building’s roof structure to be fully renovated: removal of asbestos, sealing and insulation, compliance with fire standards, lighting, reinforcement of the framework. The building has therefore benefited from a renewed ten-year warranty for its sealing. This power plant has the capacity to produce up to 2388 MWh of green carbon-free electrical power per year.
